Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almonds (soaked overnight, peeled)
  • 2 cups milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
  • 1 cup vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg or cinnamon (optional for flavor)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garnish: sliced almonds or fresh cream

Steps:

  1. Prepare Almonds: Soak almonds overnight or in hot water for 30 minutes. Peel the skin and grind them into a smooth paste using a little water.

  2. Sauté Base: Heat butter or oil in a pot. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until soft and translucent.
